Register Additional Products in Vermont, California, and Connecticut

PaintCare has now published the product definitions guide for the forthcoming program expansions in Vermont, California, and Connecticut. Manufacturers are now able to review the list of additional product types and register their products matching those definitions on PaintCare's manufacturer portal.

PaintCare Proposes Fee Increase in Oregon

On January 8, 2026, PaintCare submitted a revised Paint Stewardship Program Plan to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), requesting an increase of the fee assessed on the sale of architectural coatings (e.g., house paint, stain, and varnish) in Oregon.
Illinois Program Begins December 1
