Free Paint Recycling Drop-off and PaintShare™ Giveaway Event
Recycling event for leftover paint
Households may drop off any amount of latex or oil-based paint. Businesses may drop off any amount of latex paint, but limits may apply to oil-based paint. Visit www.paintcare.org/business-limits for more information.
Early drop-offs are considered illegal dumping and are not allowed.
Program Products
Paint must be in sealed, original container with original manufacturer label. This event is for the following products only:
- House paint and primers (latex or oil-based)
- Stains
- Deck and concrete sealers
- Clear finishes (e.g., varnishes, shellac)
Non-Program Products
- No leaking, unlabeled, or empty containers
- No aerosol coatings
- No drums or containers larger than 5 gallons
- We cannot accept other hazardous waste or chemicals, such as paint thinner, solvents, motor oil, spackle, glue, adhesive, roofing tar, pesticides, cleaning chemicals
PaintShare™ – Paint in good condition will be made available to the public for free.
The Mattress Recycling Council’s Bye Bye Mattress program will also be joining PaintCare at the event. Households can drop off up to 5 mattresses and/or box springs in any condition at no cost. Unacceptable items include futons, air mattresses, crib mattresses, mattress toppers, pillows, or bedding accessories. Visit www.ByeByeMattress.com for more information.
